PILGRIM (second iteration) (unfinished)
An unfinished, wordless comic from 2012 that I had planned on expanding to 24 pages. This is all that was completed.
HOW PLUP IS MADE!
A one page comic I made for a pulp-themed anthology in 2011. I have never been a fan of pulp - not the stories, art style, magazines, or genre. So this piece is a perhaps slightly immature response to having that theme forced upon me.

KOBAYASHI MARU
Story by Tim McGurr, art by Matt Kish.
2010
A five page comic I did for an anthology. I was deep into working on my Moby-Dick illustrations at the time, so that naturally played into the script that my friend Tim, a big fan of Star Trek, wrote. Some of these visualizations were lifted directly from my Moby-Dick illustrations.

HOORAY FOR HOLLYWOOD!
Story by Dara Naraghi, art by Matt Kish.
2010
A two page comic I did for some anthology. My friend Dara wrote it just for me, knowing my attitude toward typical Hollywood blockbusters.

ROUND TRIP
A comic I did for a travel-themed anthology in 2006. Also, weirdly, inspired by the Genesis song "The Grand Parade of Lifeless Packaging" from their album The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway.
